Kawehi
Update for Kaui: She still lies in her hospital bed moving her left side every once in a while. She's been a little more aggressive with her movement than the past few days. For those who don't know, she had a stroke about 10pm Monday night and has been unresponsive ever since. We're told she recognizes your voice (if she likes you) but she's unable to respond. Her neices and Nephew have been calling from Hawaii to sing to her and it makes her Blood pressure go up, because you know she's fighting with everything inside her to respond to her little angels back home. I been singing Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston songs to cheer her up (So EZ!) I try to make her mad to raise her blood pressure too, ( I TOLD HER DAD WALKED ON THE CARPET AT HOME WITH HIS MUDDY SHOES) LoL! It worked! Her Blood pressure went up to 180, she probably only wants to Kill Dad! Then I told her I was just kidding and her blood pressure went back to 140. We did have the privilege of having a General Authority come to see Kaui last night and give her a blessing with Dad, It was soooo Nice. Moms present was definately felt, but it seems like Moms trying to pull Kaui to her side only to tease us, but none of us feel she's ready to go yet. The doctors have given us bad news after bad news yesterday, I only wanted to "WILLOUGHBY" their faces (if they only knew)! They gave us an option of letting them cut into her skull and letting her brain swell out in the open, and then they tell us it's not really gonna help her but it might buy her more time to live! FIRE the Doctor! Crimzon! The only other choice was to let her fight it on her own. They said the swelling wasn't that bad in her brain to begin with so I dunno why they offered to remove the skull. Eh Ki'o! All in all, were gonna sit here and wait things out. The General Authority (luckily was a surgeon too) advised us NOT to go through with the surgery so were NOT! He sounded pretty confident, thank God for church leaders!! We've come to conclusion here that if Kaui is going to make it out of this we're in desperate need of a "Miracle" which has been granted to our family before with our Lovely Mom!! "Miss u Mom". To everyone back home and here in Utah, with all your faith and prayers, Kaui will continue to get better each and everyday. Not only because she's tough, but bcuz I said so too! I am WILLOUGHBY after all. HiYaaa! Love you all and I'll keep you posted. If you wanna be updated via Texts too, send me your number (808)381-6560 and I'll add you to the grouplist in my phone contacts for updates on Kaui. Thank you all again for everything you've done for me and my family. Love you All........Kawehi

I enjoy reading all the wonderful stories on OIL, but I have to correct something. In the story on the weekly Hukilau, it says that the Hukilau closed when enough money was raised for the destroyed church. Actually it continued for many years. I had th
