This was a family favorite especially when accompanied with a serving of warm buttered cornbread.

Heat large heavy pot over med-high heat, when the pot is really hot, spray with non-stick cooking spray and sauté:

1 can SPAM (cubed) *If you're too high class for SPAM, you can use ham, but it's junk.

1 lb. Bacon (sliced)

1 XL. Onion (chopped)

6 large potatoes (cubed)

Season with salt (or garlic salt) and pepper to taste

Add

2 cup water

2 pints half/half milk; or 1 can Carnation evaporated milk

2 cans Cream of Mushroom soup

2 cans sweet corn w/juice

Simmer on low heat until potatoes are tender.  Serve warm with cornbread.
